1. What Your Southern Solutions is

Your Southern Solutions is a directory and marketplace platform that helps customers find independent contractors and helps contractors advertise their services. Your Southern Solutions does not perform repairs, is not a general contractor, does not supervise contractor work, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, licensing, insurance, availability, pricing, or outcome of services provided by any listed contractor.

2. Independent contractor relationship

Contractors listed on the platform are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, or representatives of Your Southern Solutions. Customers are solely responsible for evaluating whether a contractor is suitable for their project, including checking references, licenses, insurance, certifications, pricing, and written agreements before hiring.

3. Listings, featured placement, and advertisements

Contractor listings may be paid advertisements. “Featured” placement, ranking, visibility, and presentation may be influenced by payment, subscription level, service area configuration, completeness of a listing, customer activity, and other platform factors. Your Southern Solutions does not represent that higher placement means a contractor is more qualified, less expensive, better reviewed, safer, or better suited for a customer’s project.

4. Reviews and user content

Customers may submit reviews, ratings, photos, messages, and other content. By submitting content, you grant Your Southern Solutions a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and use that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the platform. You may not submit unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, harassing, invasive, or misleading content.

Your Southern Solutions does not adopt every review or user statement as its own and does not guarantee that reviews are complete, accurate, or representative. However, nothing in these Terms is intended to prohibit or restrict lawful consumer reviews, ratings, complaints, or truthful statements about contractor services or platform experiences.

5. No endorsement, no guarantee, and no professional advice

Your Southern Solutions does not endorse, certify, recommend, or guarantee any contractor, estimate, review, quote, product, financing offer, or result. Information on the site is for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, insurance, tax, engineering, construction, licensing, or safety advice.

6. Estimates, contracts, payments, and disputes

Any estimate, contract, invoice, financing arrangement, payment schedule, warranty, or service dispute is strictly between the customer and the contractor unless Your Southern Solutions expressly states otherwise in writing. Customers should obtain written estimates, review scope, pricing, change-order terms, timelines, and warranty terms, and should not sign documents they do not understand.

7. Financing and home-improvement loan disclosures

Your Southern Solutions is not a lender, mortgage broker, or loan originator. If financing options, lender information, or educational materials are ever displayed on the platform, they are provided, if at all, for general informational purposes only unless clearly stated otherwise. Your Southern Solutions does not submit customers for financing, does not authorize contractors to obtain financing on a customer’s behalf, and does not guarantee approval, rates, or loan terms.

Customers should independently review any financing offer, read all disclosures, confirm they have personally requested and authorized any application, and understand that some home-improvement financing products may carry significant risks, including the risk of losing a home in some cases.

8. Contractor obligations

Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of all listing information, compliance with applicable laws, licenses, permits, insurance, taxes, advertising rules, customer communications, and the quality and safety of their work. Contractors must not misrepresent their services, misuse customer information, create fake reviews, impersonate customers, or seek financing on behalf of customers without lawful authorization.

9. Contractor subscriptions, free trials, billing, and cancellation

Contractor plans may include free trials, monthly subscriptions, featured placement, and other paid services. Before any paid subscription begins, the platform should clearly disclose the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and how to cancel. Contractors are responsible for reviewing plan terms before enrolling. Your Southern Solutions may suspend, downgrade, or terminate listings for nonpayment, chargebacks, fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

10. Platform communications

By using the platform, you consent to receive administrative, transactional, operational, security, support, and account-related communications by email, portal notification, or other reasonable methods. Customers and contractors are responsible for ensuring their contact information is current and accurate.

11. Privacy and data use

Use of the platform is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Your Southern Solutions may collect, store, and use account data, contact information, messages, photos, reviews, analytics, and other content as described in the Privacy Policy and as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, improve services, maintain security, comply with law, and investigate abuse.

12. Acceptable use

You may not use the platform to commit fraud, interfere with the site, scrape data in violation of these Terms, impersonate another person, transmit malware, manipulate reviews, evade fees, engage in unauthorized advertising, or violate any law or third-party rights. Your Southern Solutions may remove content, suspend accounts, or limit access at its discretion to protect users and the platform.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR RELIABILITY. YOUR SOUTHERN SOLUTIONS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUR SOUTHERN SOLUTIONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST REVENUE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM, CONTRACTOR SERVICES, USER CONTENT, COMMUNICATIONS, FINANCING, OR ANY CUSTOMER-CONTRACTOR TRANSACTION OR DISPUTE.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Your Southern Solutions and its owners, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

16. Suspension, termination, and changes

Your Southern Solutions may modify, suspend, discontinue, remove, or restrict all or part of the platform or any account, listing, feature, or plan at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law.
